Founded in 1977, the United States Tennis Association (USTA) Tennessee Tennis Association is the governing body for the sport of tennis in Tennessee and Bristol, VA. A not-for-profit organization, Tennessee is one of nine states that make up the USTA Southern Section which is the largest section of the USTA. With 12,000+ USTA members living in Tennessee and Bristol, VA, we help the USTA Southern Section account for approximately 25% of the total USTA membership. A professional staff housed in Nashville, TN carries out the USTA Tennessee daily operations, but policy is formed and much of the organization's work is executed via a Board and committee structure of volunteers. |
